Plot Summary – When a Man Loves
Han Tae-sang (played by Song Seung-heon) is a successful businessman who experienced a lonely childhood. When he meets Mi-do (played by Shin Se-kyung), he sees in her a reflection of his younger self, and for the first time in his life, he feels love.
Mi-do, who dreams of climbing into high society, is cheerful and lovable by nature. Tae-sang protects her for seven years, but never manages to win her heart.
Though they reunite years later and acknowledge their shared feelings, Mi-do still believes Tae-sang can never truly be her lover.

Lee Jae-hee (played by Yeon Woo-jin) shares many interests with Tae-sang, but after reuniting with Mi-do at a resort, he falls for her and can’t pull himself away—leading to conflict with Tae-sang.
Baek Seung-joo (played by Chae Jung-an), despite knowing Tae-sang’s feelings for Mi-do, is determined to make him her man at any cost.
