JTBC recently announced its 2025 Korean drama lineup, and among them, the highly anticipated new drama “The Good Man” (善良的男子漢), starring Lee Dong Wook and Lee Sung Kyung, has been officially confirmed. The release of the lead actors’ still cuts has sparked major excitement among fans.

“The Good Man” is directed by Song Hae-sung, known for films like Pale Blue Dot, Our Happy Time, and Aging Family. The script is a joint creation between Kim Woon-kyung (drama Yuna’s Street) and Kim Hyo-seok (The Outlaws film).
Blending humor and emotional warmth, the series follows Park Seok-chul (played by Lee Dong Wook), the eldest grandson of a mafia family, as he navigates the chaos of protecting his family, his business, and his love. Set in a city undergoing urban redevelopment, the drama features a diverse cast of characters spanning various ages, backgrounds, and personalities — all rich in emotional depth, delivering a story full of both laughter and tears, centered around themes of kindness and compassion.
